Matengai Cliffs

Basic data

Facility summary and accessibility conditions

They are huge cliffs standing 257 meters vertically, looking as if they were carved with a giant knife.
When you look below, the emerald green sea and the spectacular natural landscape pop into your eyes.
You can go by car up to the entrance to the lookout.
Inside, there are cows and horses grazing on meadows, which you can come close to.
The combination of the view from the cliffs and the meadows is as if you were in another world.
The pathways in the grass are hilly and bumpy.
It's difficult to go from the parking space to the viewing platform, which is at the top, but you can get there in around 10 minutes.
